Well it never ends up here!  Ex Cyclone Helen had made a coastal crossing near to Townsville and crossed over Cape Cleveland.  In areas towards Charters Towers S.W of Townsville, they experienced destructive wind gusts to 109 kph.  In the city however, winds gusted to 70klm/hr and again rainfall was more than 100mm.  Many roads are cut to the south.   The lower photos are taken of the main highway north where the Bohle River Crosses during floods.  Only one bridge is open allowing traffic to still divert out of the city.
