These photos were taken by Steven Barnes.  He witnessed first hand the power and destruction of a severe storm which swept across the North Western portion of the greater Brisbane area, 16 November 2008.  

Winds were estimated to be near 130klms/hr.  Equivalent to a Category 1 or 2 cyclone  That area was declared a natural disaster zone.
